I'm getting a feeling that the railway link will never be restored: http://www.stratford-herald.com/103100-council-urged-commission-honeybourne-rail-study.html

When I was at university, I always used Leamington station to travel to/from college as the rail links were so much better than Strarford.

Years-many-ago when I lived in Leamington, I'm sure I regularly travelled to Wales from that lovely station, changing at Gobowan to get to Criccieth. Not sure now -after the depths of time. Some of you may know.Once it took 9 hours as there was the Eistedfford in Corwen and so many delays.. Usually it took about 3 hours.

Stratford District Council supports the scheme, but it seems that no-one else wants anything to do with it: http://www.stratford-herald.com/56944-reopened-rail-line-plan-hit-dead-end.html

Worcestershire & Gloucestershire County Councils are behind the scheme. Will Warwickshire & Stratford councils ever get their heads out of their backsides and make a decision? http://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news/honeybourne-rail-line-gets-support-relief-busy-rural-roads/

Their viability reports don't mean a thing. Look at the Richo Arena fiasco.I don't think they had one for that mess up.
