Topic review - Avon Between Stratford & Warwick to be Made Navigable?

Maybe spend the money on useful things like repairing potholes in roads? Most people who're against the plan don't want their privacy infringed by people gawping into their back gardens. I don't blame them, they bought houses, not zoos! No doubt that the main justification will be that the navigation will bring valuable tourist money to the area.

I read it Lex, and to be honest I have very mixed views on it. Wouldn't that kind of money be better spent elsewhere?

Personally, I don't want to see this happen, neither do a lot of people who live along the river!
