Grrrr don't get me started on all of this! They are wasting time and money PRETENDING to come to the bottom of something!

Like most enquiries of a similar nature - and there have certainly been a host of them over the years, the only satisfactory result is one the government rather than the people are happy with, happy that justice has been done. The wishes of the people seem to be of little interest.

Seems to be the case in politics that MPs who want to speak the truth and say what's on their minds, are always kept from power by the political elite. I have so little faith in British Politics today. Politicians are only interested in lining their own pockets. ANd this enquirey as you said Cathi, is just a complete waste of time and money, no one will be convicted as a result, and we'll be non the wiser for it.

Clare short
I have just been listening to Clare Short talking about the Iraq inquiry.
She is the only one who says what most people think. The others are all afraid of losing their jobs. I don't think she cares about losing hers that much.
O.k , she resigned and went back again at the time, but the only way to find out what really goes on in Parliament is to be there, and be one of them.
She implied that she realised that she'd never know what went on behind those closed doors if she left.
She also said the whole thing is an exercise in wasting money as nothing will come of it. Our Tone will talk himself out of anything.
