Looking on the bright side, perhaps drinking/driving won't be an issue especially if the drinkers stay over.

Born in Auckland - the City of Sails... lived a good part of my life in a city north of Auckland called Whangarei. It is near the Bay of Islands. http://www.whangarei.co.nz/

Christchurch - Garden City. Really lovely and on the banks of the Avon River.

I have no idea what I'm doing yet. The online bit sounds good as NY is usually a let down. Its a small world, been looking at whether to emmigrate NZ. Still in the early investigation stages, but you never know. Chch looks favourite ;)

Well, could always use the chat room and have an online party. Seem to remember doing that when the year clocked over to 2000. I had a real life party in NZ then logged on and had a second with some friends online.

New Years Eve - What are you doing?
Hi all,

Personally I usually find it's the most disappointing night of the year, as you're forced to either get in to a bar early, or pay for an expensive ticket which gets you no extra benefits.

I'd much prefer a party but there's non going on this year, so if anyone knows of a good event going on, let's hear it. :)
