It's a wonderful building, it'll be a shame if it is razed to the ground. There's there's some amazing things that can be done with old buildings - I often give Gloucester Docks as an example of what can be achieved with a bit of imagination.

Sadly, like many pubs, it just wasn't supported by the community. At one stage McDonalds allegedly wanted the site: it looks like it'll now be a scaffold yard, but for how long? Once sold, my bet is that it'll soon become housing, just as the rest of the land around there has.
