Philip Seccombe got in In Warwickshire; not my choice, but there you go: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2016-35997972
David Jamieson will be looking after Coventry: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2016-35997969
I had absolutely NO idea local elections were taking place in Coventry and Nuneaton & Bedworth - and I read the local paper websites most days!

I can't think of any local politicians who I'd give the time of day to.
One of the very few I do admire is Dennis Skinner.

There're a lot of politicians I wouldn't pee on, but I have come across the odd one or 2 who actually seem to give a damn (or at least our interests have crossed paths).

Whatever the party, they're all as bad and all as economical with the truth as each other. Is it any wonder that most of the electorate wouldn't urinate on them if they were on fire?

I actually heard the 1st bit of news about the WM PCC today - Jeremy Corbin was in Brum, something to do with the Labour candidate, but I stopped listening when I heard his names mentioned!

Not a lot of information yet, but no doubt we'll get more than enough before long. Have you heard anything about the West Midlands PCC election Rebbonk?

Neither of the last two links tell me anything like enough to vote for the candidate. I begin to despair at the lack of information available about candidates for public office.
