I occasionally catch a nostril-full whilst walking down the street as well, but there's never a copper or plastic policeman (PCSO) around to raise the issue with.

You know Lex, I can often smell cannabis whilst I'm out walking the dog. Now, if I can smell it, so can plod! Interestingly enough, it often smells strongest walking along the main road. I can only assume a lot of drivers use it.

We had a barman at our local who used to slip out for a 'funny fag'. He really didn't realise how the smell clung to him, and if the wind was in the wrong direction how the smell would blow into the pub.

Some people do have a cheek. There's a park next to the police station in Stratford that's known as a bit of a 'smokers corner', if you catch my drift.

Oddly enough, a guy I vaguely know died of a heroin overdose during the holidays.

Another odd thing, I have only ever been offered drugs once, and that was at one of Coventry's best known and respected schools.

I did find a packet of white powder on a car park near the university during the graduation days, that went very rapidly into a bin.

I was in Yates' in Coventry early one evening when I watched a guy sat in a window seat put a line of white powder down (cocaine?) and snort it. I couldn't believe his audacity.
