Topic review - You need nerves to play the stockmarket

The stock market has suffered its worst day so far this year Lex. - Not my biggest loss though.

I dabble as a bit of fun, but I'm playing with other people's money now. I withdrew my original stake a few years back.

I buy shares occasionally - I've lost a bit and gained a bit over the years, but have come out slightly ahead so far. I also put a bit into a shares ISA every month, which seems to be doing quite well.

Just thought I'd share this with you, my daily gains and losses (£) for 2019 so far...

Whilst I'm generally going in the right direction, there have been a couple of hefty losses (today for one). Playing the stockmarket really isn't for the faint-hearted, you need nerves of steel at times.
