Church of England - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaInteresting bit on the financial situation of the Church of England there. Many of this countries finest buildings would be lost if the Church of England didn't look after them. I'm not prepared to comment any more or i'll be the next one hounded out after being subjected to condesending remarks but accused of being the one making them (Pot, kettle, black). End of subject. You may as well close this thread too.

I'll take that as a no then.
I was only wondering what you mean when you describe the Church of England as a Religion??

Madhatter, please could you explain a little more concerning this statement?

So you want to strike down all religion, and then teach the Law according to one of the Gods you have just got rid of? that makes no sense. I dont think faith is blind or self indulgent. As for learning a religion from a computer, why is that any better than The Book?

I would be delighted to have a sensible debate on faith and or religion, but I cannot see how that can happen while john is going off on one.
Chill- let me explain, blind faith is self indulgence religion is a set of rules.
What we have been doing is throwing the book at them, what is wrong
with just teaching our children the 10 commandments. If they wish to specialise its all on computer.

This will be their country in a few years and the blood shed will be on our streets every day. This country worked perfectly well with the two main religions here, Catholic and CofE. NOW they're any and every religion, the fighting starts in schools, then they get this popagander from abroad, we become the enemy, an enemy that they live off. Ban all religion from schools, or go back to Cof E or tuff sh t. .
I believe the French are making muslims dress normally in schools-this
may water things down a bit.
