Had a bit of a cold over Christmas; I'm more-or-less over it now - just a bit of a lingering cough.

Pleased to know Mrs. R is soldiering on, hope the virus will not last too long. It took the stuffing out of me.

Mrs R. went down with it last weekend. She's tough little b*gger though and is soldiering on. Fortunately, I haven't been stricken as yet.

Hope everyone has escaped the nasty colds and coughs. I had a right horrible two weeks with a chesty cough, couldn't sleep well, had to sit up most the night. But I am getting over it now, can eat a full meal.

We have storage heating. I put in a new unit as winter started. So far it's only been on full to burn the 'newness' off it. Most nights Mrs. R. Only has it on for a couple of hours. I'm quite impressed.

Well, I made it to 3:00 before I put the heating on! It has been a nice day with the sun coming in the front room and kitchen.
