Perhaps you should go out for a quick half while you think about it.

Only question is, do we go out for a couple of drinks first?

Such difficult decisions!

Hope you and Mrs Rebbonk enjoy it.

I tried a capon once, I can't say I was all that impressed. But a 1-off doesn't prove very much, so maybe I ought try one again?

But I think you hit the nail on the head with the local butcher. ;)

The delay sounded a pain, but sounds like the wait was worth it. We went for capon from our local butcher again this year - we always really enjoy it.

To be completely honest Lex, it was delicious.

The only real issue was that we had a power cut just as the good lady was cooking the veg. We'd intended eating about 6.30, the power cut put that back til about 8.00.

The pork was intended for New Years day, so a swap will have to do.

D'oh! as the saying goes. How was your pork?

Oops
Who forgot to get the meat out of the freezer last night? :o :o :o

Thankfully, I had a joint of pork that could be pressed into service. Looks like turkey for New Years day!
