Q7 he needs 7/35ths of a litre which equals 0.2l: which just happens to be 200ml Q8 [(Selling price-cost price)/cost price]*100 [(3.90-2.60)/2.60]*100...... [1.30/2.60]*100........ =50% I hope this makes some sort of sense Margaret? Edit to correct my misread figures Q8 could also be calculated by (profit/cost price)*100.... (1.30/2.60)*100 = 50% |

rebbonk wrote: Did I help, Margaret? Yes, you did thank you Rebbonk. by looking at your workings, I think he can see where he went wrong and worked it out again. It is always helpful to have someone else look at it. You are still pretty sharp minded..

He needs a total of 20 1/2 hour blocks for each job, I assume that breaks/lunch are not fixed. Attachment: The attachment margaret 2.jpg is no longer available That's how I'd work it, assuming I've understood the question properly
